Akron Recording Company (ARC) is thrilled to have released our fourth volume of Where the Hell is Akron, OH?, a compilation of songs by musicians from Northeast Ohio. Each volume of this compilation is a snapshot of the current music scene in Akron, which is one of many facets that make Akronites proud to call this city home. Artists featured on Where the Hell is Akron, OH? Vol. 4 include new, unreleased songs from, Smith Taylor, Samantha Grace, Corey Conway, King Buu, Evergreen Hotel and Benny Lava & The Guavas, as well as recent releases from Free Black!, Mourning [A] BLKstar, Rent For Cheryl, Honeyland, and Flock Of Moons. All of the songs on Where the Hell is Akron, OH? have been recorded, mixed & mastered at Akron Recording Company.

About US
Akron Recording Company combines the beauty of analog recording with the industry standard digital recording mediums to create a timeless sound, with the ability to adjust and meet many needs of todays artists.
Our vision is to provide an outlet for local artists, songwriters, designers, and music lovers to join and get connected to Akron's growing creative community and beyond through audio recording, curated shows, social events, compilation records and more!
Our Space
In the Cascade Valley neighborhood of Akron is home to a beautiful historic factory building, originally built in 1892 & 1893 for the Akron Soap Company. Now we are so lucky to call the ground floor of this incredible old factory our home! We have approximately a 2,800 square foot studio, with 14 Foot ceilings, original wooden support beams & antique hand crafted barn stone walls. Our one of a kind facility makes for an acoustically friendly environment, with naturally uneven walls, slotted ceilings, and a nice open live room it can be transformed into the perfect space for any project!
